Michael J. Langlois, age 52, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident in Almer Township. Mike was born on February 16, 1959 in Cass City to Richard and Betty (Anderski) Langlois. He was a lifelong resident of rural Gagetown.

In addition to his church affiliation, he was a member of the Cass City/Gagetown Knights of Columbus Council #8892 where he was very active in fish fries. He also enjoyed home improvements, tinkering, and was an overall do-it-yourself person, putting others needs before his own.
Surviving Mike is his wife, Ruth; three children, Bethany Langlois and fiancée Greg Dillon of Newaygo, Anthony Langlois and Kelli Pettit of Newaygo, Mitchell Langlois at home; his parents, Richard and Betty Langlois of Gagetown; his siblings, Shelly (Charlie) Rogers of Oklahoma, Paul Langlois of Unionville; his in-laws, Joe (Lynne) Windy of Snover, Mary (Rick) Doerr of Cass City, Paul (Tonette) Windy of Hancock, Jim Windy of Cass City; his nieces and nephews, Christina (Craig) Swiderski of Cass City, Melissa Doerr and Josh Royale of St. Charles, Mason Doerr of Cass City, and Bret Schalk of Rogers City; his great nephews, Tristan, Logan, Riley, and Jackson; a special family member, John Brown of Big Rapids; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
